Jennifer Navarro

  1. Where did you grow up?

My parents are from Mexico. I was born in Fremont, California and I was raised in Hayword, California.

  1. Fun fact about you?

A little about me is that I’m happily married with one son.  Love to laugh – helping those in need – love traveling – love photography – love nature walks / hikes – spending time with family – love to bake – love to dance – music and sports – and can’t forget about traveling to Disney!

  1. Favorite quote?

“If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.” – Zig Ziglar

  1. What is your pet peeve?

What gets me really easily is when people eat or chew with their mouth open whether it is gum, food, ice, you name it.  I also don’t like seeing blood and I dislike fake and dishonest people.

  1. If you could host a dinner party for anyone in the world, who would you invite and why?
Hmmmm, this is a great question.  But if I had to host a dinner party if would be here in my home and having the honor to have Romeo Santos.  The reason why is that I grew up litening, dancing and singing to Bachata music!
  1. What advice would you give to your younger self?

No matter what life throws at you, just keep going. It’s ok to make mistakes, life is a learning process.  Don’t rush things, take it one day at a time.

What do you like most about Crown Colony?

The one year that I have been here, what I have liked is meeting new home owners as well as residents.  I also enjoy watching and hearing kids laugh and run and seeing young adults connecting with each other.

  1. What motivates you to volunteer?

That no matter what the differences are between us all, a the end of the day we find a way to come together as a teams, as a family, as a whole.  Watching home owners and residents reconnect after a long and stressful week, it motivates me.  I just watch them smile and have fund, and enjoy listening to their laughs.  Honestly, the Crown Colony family helps me to keep doing what I do best!

  1. What advice would you give to someone who is interested in volunteering?

The best feeling is knowing that you live in a gated community and that you are able to give back, and you may think it’s something so small, but for others it’s making a difference.  Once you start, you don’t want to stop!  You want to keep going!  If you ahve the time, the energy and the desire, please fill out one of the forms here on this website so that we can take note that you are intersted to be a part of this wonderful volunteer family!  I promis and guarantee you won’t regret it!

10. When you aren’t volunteering, what can we find you doing?

Spending time with my family and creating new and fun memories with them.  important!
