Community Safety, Compliance and Resident Responsibility

One of the things that makes Crown Colony a desirable place
to live is our shared commitment to maintaining a safe,
attractive, and well-managed community. As a reminder to all
residents, compliance with Association rules, safety
regulations, and community standards plays an important role
in preserving the quality of life we all enjoy.

Recently, the Association has observed an increase in
violations involving traffic and safety regulations, as well as
the storage of personal belongings in common areas. While
most residents consistently follow community rules, these
issues have become frequent enough that additional
enforcement measures, including fines, are being issued when
necessary.

Residents are reminded to obey all posted traffic signs,
parking regulations, speed limits, fire lane restrictions, and
other safety-related signage throughout the community. These
rules are in place to protect residents, visitors, emergency
personnel, and property. Ignoring traffic signs, parking
restrictions, or other posted notices can create unnecessary
safety hazards and may result in enforcement action.

In addition, residents are reminded that personal belongings
should not be stored in hallways, corridors, entryways,
stairwells, or outside unit doors. Common areas must remain
clear and accessible at all times. Items left outside units not
only detract from the appearance of the community but may
also create safety concerns, impede emergency access, and
violate fire safety requirements.

Examples of items that should not be stored in common areas
include boxes, furniture, shoes, storage containers, carts,
household items, decorations, and other personal belongings.
These areas are intended for shared community use and safe
passage and should remain free of obstructions.

The Association’s goal is not to issue fines but rather to
encourage voluntary compliance and maintain a safe,
attractive environment for everyone. However, when
violations continue after notice has been provided,
enforcement actions, including fines, may be necessary.

We appreciate the cooperation of all residents who
consistently follow community rules and help make Crown
Colony a welcoming place to live. By working together,
respecting community standards, and remaining mindful of
our shared spaces, we can continue to maintain a safe, clean,
and enjoyable community for all.
