Intercom System Update Progress & Important Information

We would like to provide the community with an
important update regarding the long-awaited
intercom system improvements at Crown Colony.

After careful review, the Board initially selected a
vendor and approved a bid to move forward with
upgrading the intercom system. Unfortunately,
shortly after the decision was made, the company
informed the Board that the specific equipment
originally proposed had been discontinued and was
no longer available.

Following this setback, the Board continued its
efforts to find a reliable and cost-effective solution.
We are pleased to share that the Board has selected
Teletek, who has confirmed that a compatible
system through DoorKing, will meet the
community’s needs while staying within budget.
Teletek has since ordered the necessary parts and
has developed a structured work plan.

To ensure quality installation and minimal disruption, the
Board has approved a phased approach, with one
intercom system being repaired or upgraded per
month. While this means the project will take time,
it allows for careful, consistent progress across the
community.

your patience and understanding as we move
forward.
