Residents are reminded that violation enforcement began in July
for traffic and parking safety issues involving stop signs, one-
way traffic areas, and fire lanes throughout Crown Colony.
These rules are in place to protect residents, guests, pedestrians,
and emergency access, and all drivers are expected to follow
them always while on the property.

Ignoring stop signs, driving the wrong way in marked areas,
stopping or parking in fire lanes, or leaving a vehicle in restricted
safety zones creates unnecessary risks for everyone in the
community. These actions can interfere with traffic flow, increase
the chance of accidents, and block access needed by emergency
responders. Even if a stop is brief, violations in these areas are
still taken seriously.

Residents should also be aware that cameras are in place to
monitor these areas. Violations may be documented through
camera footage, and enforcement may occur based on what is
observed. This means residents should not assume that unsafe
parking or traffic behavior will go unnoticed.

Please also note that there will be no courtesy calls made to ask
that a vehicle be moved before a violation is issued. In the past,
some residents may have expected a warning or a phone call first,
but that should no longer be assumed. If a vehicle is parked or
stopped in violation of the rules, the violation may be issued
without advance notice.

This enforcement is not intended to be punitive for the sake of
punishment. Its purpose is to improve safety, maintain order, and
make sure critical access points remain clear. Fire lanes must
remain open for emergency vehicles. Stop signs must be obeyed
to protect drivers and pedestrians. One-way traffic rules must be
followed to reduce confusion and prevent collisions.

Residents are encouraged to share these reminders with
household members, visitors, caregivers, delivery drivers, and
anyone else who may enter the property on their behalf. If
someone is visiting your unit, it is your responsibility to help
make sure they understand and follow Crown Colony’s rules.
A quick reminder and a little extra attention can go a long way
in preventing unnecessary violations. Please be aware, follow
the rules, and help keep Crown Colony safe for everyone.
